This map covers all the pubic access points on the Salmon River from Lake Ontario to the Upper Fly Fishing Only Area.

We love classic vintage maps, the fonts, the line work, and the paper, we consider it a work of art! But we also want updated information, especially the information we need to help us explore the great outdoors!
This series of maps were created out of a desire to explore less well known spots in the Catskills for fly-fishing. Since much of the land in New York State is privately owned, finding locations where one can legally access is particularly important for the outdoor enthusiasts. And we have come up with a solution using the latest geospatial data and designed a map that overlays all the information that will help us explore the region.
While the information on the map deploys the latest geospatial datasets, graphically it is designed with timeless cartographic standards. All the graphic elements are carefully crafted to ensure the greatest legibility.

Hydrographic information compiled from National Hydrography Dataset
Roads compiled from US Census Bureau TIGER/Line
Fishing access points, forest boundaries, and trail data compiled from NYDEC data
Stream gauge locations compiled from USGS Current Water Data
//Size and Resolution
The map is printed on 12"x16" paper with a margin suitable for 12"x16" mat board or frame. This is the minimum size the map can be printed on. It has a resolution of 600 dpi.

140 lb pure cotton archival paper is used to ensure the highest quality print.
//Shipping
Each print is packaged flat in a protective sleeve sandwiched between 2 sheets of cardboard.
