This is the best spider / skater hook currently made. Wide gap, up eye and a short shank make it a great sub for the Allcock 4991 1/2.
We use the size 14 for Neversink Skaters and the 16s for spiders. The 10's and 12's are great for Darbee's two feather fly and other extended body flies.
