- All levels, No Experience needed
- Patterns: X-Caddis, Wooly Bugger, Caddis Pupa
Overview
Tying the Caddis Pupae teaches how to attach the thread to the hook, dub a body, rib a body, create a thorax, form a head, and make the knots necessary to finish the fly. Tying the Woolly Bugger teaches you how to work with marabou, wrap a chenille body, and palmer a hackle. Tying the Usual teaches you how to separate underfur from the guard hairs, dub a body, and set a wing and tail. It also teaches you the importance of proper proportions for a dry fly. After tying the three flies in this class, you will not only have three flies that are sure to catch fish but also the skills necessary to take fly tying to the next level.
