Caucci & Nastasi may have refined Fran Better's Haystack with the Compardun, then Gerrard Zazzera perfected it. Gerrard's comparaduns float real well, have great profile and just catch fish. They are also beautiful flies for something so simple. This pattern is tied on 2x long dry fly hooks.
