Ram's Wool is very dense and fuzzy. The wool is often used to sculpt heads on minnow imitations such as muddler minnows and sculpins. Ram's Wool is spun onto the hook shank in the same manner as deer hair and then trimmed to shape. Because it is not buoyant, it is perfect for patterns fished in deeper waters.
