Shipping Support/Inventory Management/Retail Support

Seeking a fly angler who is interested in joining our crew working at the oldest family run fly shop in the country. This Monday - Friday job includes shipping mail orders in addition to managing inventory with data entry and retail shop support as needed. Knowledge of fly fishing and the local area welcomed. 


  • Packaging and shipping mail order items promptly and accurately.
  • Accepting and receiving orders from customers and suppliers.
  • Conducting regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Managing inventory of shipping, office, and shop supplies.
  • Assisting with data entry and supporting projects as needed.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to assist customers with their purchases.
  • Merchandising and restocking products to maintain an attractive retail environment.
  • Offering expertise and advice to customers on all aspects of fly fishing.


  • Knowledge of fly fishing techniques, gear, and local fishing areas preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with data entry and inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Friday.
