Shipping Support/Retail Support
Seeking a fly angler who is interested in joining our crew working at the oldest family run fly shop in the country! This shipping and retail support role is Monday-Friday position. It includes shipping mail orders in addition to retail shop support and project support as needed. Knowledge of fly fishing and the local area are a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Packaging and shipping mail order items promptly and accurately.
- Accepting and receiving orders from customers and suppliers.
- Conducting regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Managing inventory of shipping, office, and shop supplies.
- Assisting with data entry and supporting projects as needed.
- Providing exceptional customer service to assist customers with their purchases.
- Merchandising and restocking products to maintain an attractive retail environment.
- Offering expertise and advice to customers on all aspects of fly fishing.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of fly fishing techniques, gear, and local fishing areas preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with data entry and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday.
