a knotless tapered leader. They are each designed
for particular applications with time tested tapers
and designs. Each section is chosen for stiffness/
suppleness, clarity, and strength.
When fishing a sinking line, a short leader is needed
to pull the fly down quickly. A well-designed taper
allows for the best fly turnover and control that a
leave leader cannot offer.
