Daiichi 1480 - Limerick Dry Fly Hook

This dry fly hook is unique due to its limerick bend. The shape of the wire in the bend weights the tail end of the fly more than a perfect bend or a round bend. Emerger patterns will sit more upright in the water. Some dry flies are more aesthetically pleasing when tied on this hook style.
