An Acrilan fiber with a luster and luminescence resembling seal fur. Originally introduced for use as wings on spinner flies, it has since been used as dubbing for steelhead and Atlantic salmon flies, winging for streamers and wings for down-wing caddis and the Wulff series of flies.
